MTV Dodges Essence Infringement Claims, For Now

Law360, Los Angeles (April 2, 2012, 7:57 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Monday dismissed most copyright infringement claims from a suit accusing MTV Networks and other broadcasters and entertainment companies of airing TV One LLC's exclusive coverage of the Essence Music Festival without permission.
