Reebok Claims It Was Licensed To Sell Tebow Jerseys

Law360, New York (April 3, 2012, 8:00 PM EDT) -- Reebok International Ltd. on Tuesday pressed a New York federal judge to lift a temporary restraining order blocking it from selling New York Jets apparel featuring the name of quarterback Tim Tebow, arguing that it was authorized to hawk the jerseys until at least the end of March.

Reebok maintains that pursuant to a licensing agreement and a subsequent oral agreement with the head of Players Inc., which represents the National Football League players association, it had permission to market jerseys for five or fewer players...
