Plaintiffs Appeal $100M AmEx Settlement

Law360, New York (August 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Several putative class members in a securities lawsuit against American Express Co. have launched a legal crusade against a $100 million settlement deal that was brokered in July.

The six plaintiffs said in court documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday that they had filed an appeal of the settlement in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
