Jury Sides With 'Glory' Director In 'Last Samurai' Theft Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (April 6, 2012, 8:48 PM EDT) -- Two screenwriting brothers who accused “Glory” director Edward Zwick and longtime collaborator Marshall Herskovitz of stealing their idea for the 2003 film “The Last Samurai” couldn’t prove the Hollywood veterans had ever even received their script, a California federal jury found Friday.
