ERISA Claims Revived In Booz Allen Contract Units Row

Law360, New York (April 10, 2012, 3:18 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Monday revived claims against executives of defense contracting giant Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. who allegedly forced employees to retire and sell their stock options to boost their own profits from a deal with The Carlyle Group LP.

U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan in February dismissed two Employee Retirement Income Security Act claims from former Booz Allen officer Paul Kocourek, ruling they were precluded by a state court judgment, but reversed himself Monday after Kocourek challenged the decision.
