Mercedes-Benz Seeks To Toss Suit Over Faulty Radiators

Law360, New York (April 10, 2012, 7:30 PM EDT) -- Mercedes-Benz said Monday a proposed class action alleging the automaker sold cars with defective radiators should be dismissed because the woman who filed the suit never owned one of the vehicles in question.

The motion, filed in California federal court, alleges that Nadia Kas can neither sue the automaker nor represent the putative class and that she made false statements in her complaint.
