Toyota Seeks To Gut Acceleration MDL Class In 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (April 12, 2012, 6:52 PM EDT) -- Toyota Motor Corp. on Wednesday asked the Ninth Circuit to review an opinion refusing to force arbitration of certain claims in multidistrict litigation alleging acceleration defects, in an appeal that, if successful, could slash the potential class of plaintiffs claiming economic loss.
