Allentown Says Developer Blocked $220M Hockey Arena Deal

Law360, New York (April 25, 2012, 4:41 PM EDT) -- The city of Allentown, Pa., on Monday sued a local developer for $50 million over allegations that he attempted to obstruct a $220 million bond issue intended to finance a minor league hockey arena.

In its suit filed in Pennsylvania state court, the city is accusing Abe Atiyeh of tortious interference with contractual relations and civil conspiracy.
