US Subcontractor Wants Insurer To Cover Iraqi Casualties

Law360, New York (April 26, 2012, 2:29 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Wednesday allowed subcontractor Corporate Bank Financial Services Inc. to intervene in Continental Insurance Co.'s suit seeking to dodge workers' compensation coverage for more than 100 Iraqi subcontractors who were killed or injured while providing security to U.S. citizens.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson found CBFS meets the criteria for intervention and has a clear legal stake in the outcome of the lawsuit.
