Judge Upholds BofA Victory In Patent Suit

Law360 (September 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bank of America NA has been handed a victory in a long-running lawsuit, with a district court judge declining to toss a jury verdict declaring TradeCard Inc.'s patent for a purchase order processing system invalid.

Judge Alvin Hellerstein of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York last week rebuffed TradeCard's claims that he had made the wrong decisions concerning what evidence to allow, what information to exclude and how to shape the jury's instructions.
