9th Circ. Says Feds Can Snuff State Land Rights

Law360, New York (June 14, 2012, 6:19 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday ruled that the federal government's use of eminent domain fully trumps states' sovereign rights to tidelands and waterways, paving the way for the U.S. government to do what it wishes with a San Diego naval station.
