Richard Dreyfuss Sues Family Over Real Estate Loan

Law360, Los Angeles (June 15, 2012, 7:19 PM EDT) -- Actor Richard Dreyfuss on Thursday sued his father and uncle in California state court, demanding they repay an $870,000 loan used to purchase a 13-story office building in downtown Los Angeles and accusing them of diverting millions from a family partnership.

It's the second time Richard Dreyfuss, who has starred in the 1975 thriller “Jaws” and 1973 teen film “American Graffiti,” has sued his father Norman Dreyfuss, his uncle Gilbert Dreyfuss and their business 311 S. Spring St. over payment of the loan. A related lawsuit...
