$1B Army Bribery Probe Nets 9th Guilty Plea

Law360, New York (June 20, 2012, 4:02 PM EDT) -- A former Nova Datacom LLC employee on Wednesday pled guilty to paying public officials at least $50,000 in bribes, making him the ninth defendant to admit to participating in a kickback scheme involving more than $1 billion worth of information technology contracts.

Nick Park, also known as Nochol Park, admitted in Washington federal court to two counts of bribing a public official to score U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Army contracts, for which he could face up to 15 years in prison as well...
