House Panel OKs Funding For FCC Political Ad Reporting Rule

Law360, New York (June 20, 2012, 6:29 PM EDT) -- The House Appropriations Committee on Wednesday approved funding for a new Federal Communications Commission rule that requires broadcasters to report political advertising data online, despite earlier indications that Republicans would try to block the funding.

During the committee markup of the financial services spending bill for fiscal year 2013, Rep.
