Ill. Court Won't Revive Feud Over Chicago Tower Stake

Law360, Chicago (July 2, 2012, 5:48 PM EDT) -- An Illinois appeals court on Wednesday refused to revive Bluegrass Investors LLC's suit over the dilution of its interest in a Chicago real estate development, upholding a ruling that the developer wasn't required to literally comply with a financing notice requirement.

Bluegrass had argued on appeal that the developer breached the contract by failing to provide written notice of a request for more financing for the development of the mixed-use project, called The Heritage at Millennium Park, before reducing the investor's interest and allegedly costing it...
