Sharp To Pay Dell, Others $200M In LCD Price-Fixing MDL

Law360, New York (July 9, 2012, 7:59 PM EDT) -- Sharp Corp. reportedly said Monday that it will pay nearly $200 million to settle a dispute with Dell Inc. and two unnamed companies in California multidistrict litigation accusing it of fixing prices for liquid crystal display screens.

Sharp will pay $198.5 million to settle the suit with Dell and two unnamed companies who had accused it of colluding with other electronics companies to set and maintain high prices for LCD panels, according to PCWorld.
