Privacy Pacts Show Strength Of US Approach, FTC Head Says

Law360, New York (July 11, 2012, 8:41 PM EDT) -- Although it lacks a comprehensive privacy regime, the Federal Trade Commission's recent enforcement actions — especially its high-profile settlements with Google Inc. and Facebook Inc. — send the message to European regulators that the U.S. approach is highly effective, FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz has told Law360.
