Calif. City Fights For Right To Block Point Molate Casino

Law360, New York (July 11, 2012, 4:32 PM EDT) -- The city of Richmond, Calif., maintained Tuesday that it did not breach a contract with real estate developer Upstream Point Molate LLC by nixing plans to build a casino complex over environmental issues and asked a court to officially side with the city.
