GOP Offshore Drilling Bill Moves Forward In House

Law360, New York (July 18, 2012, 4:56 PM EDT) -- A GOP bill replacing President Barack Obama's offshore drilling plan with a congressional program that would double the administration's proposed number of lease sales and expand exploration to areas off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts was approved by the House Natural Resources Committee on Wednesday.
