Landwin Ducks Class Actions Over Real Estate Investments

Law360, Los Angeles (July 16, 2012, 8:31 PM EDT) -- A California state judge on Monday rejected two class actions accusing commercial real estate investment company Landwin Group LLC and its partners of falsely promising investors high returns and misappropriating their investments, ruling the lawsuits were time-barred.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elihu M. Berle said the lawsuits, which claim Landwin Group violated a state securities law, were barred by either a one-year or three-year statute of limitation.
