Hedge Fund Consultant Cops To Insider Trading

Law360, New York (July 17, 2012, 9:01 PM EDT) -- Hedge fund consultant Wesley Wang, a government cooperator in a New York insider trading probe, pled guilty Friday to charges that he passed insider information on Cisco Systems Inc., Polycom Inc. and Marvell Technology Group Ltd.

After surrendering to the FBI Friday morning, Wang, 39, pled guilty to two counts of conspiracy for his involvement in two separate tip-passing schemes, according to a transcript of a hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Gabriel W.
