Hearst Chides Judge For Granting Interns Class Status

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 3:42 PM EDT) -- The Hearst Corp. on Tuesday petitioned a New York federal judge to reconsider his grant of class certification in a labor law violation suit brought by a former intern, arguing that he failed to define whether an intern is an employee and to take into account the variety of work situations the company's interns experience.
