FCC Won't Review Ruling In Comcast, Tennis Channel Bias Case

Law360, New York (July 24, 2012, 11:15 PM EDT) -- The Federal Communications Commission on Tuesday refused to review a December decision asking Comcast Cable Communications LLC to carry The Tennis Channel Inc. on the same package as its affiliated sports networks.

The commission denied Comcast's request to review Chief Administrative Law Judge Richard L. Sippel's ruling and affirmed almost all of the decision, which found that Comcast unfairly put independently owned Tennis Channel in a more expensive sports package while offering sports networks owned by Comcast, like Golf Channel and Versus, on a basic cable...
