Firm Under Investigation Over $160M In Defense Contracts

Law360, New York (July 25, 2012, 7:28 PM EDT) -- Federal investigators are looking into allegations that an Oregon aerial imaging firm bribed a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers program manager in exchange for almost $160 million in defense contracts, the Eugene Register-Guard reported, citing search warrants unsealed last week.

No charges have been filed, but affidavits filed in Oregon federal court show that Army official Jerry Hodgson is under investigation for possibly taking kickbacks in exchange for granting contracts to Sky Research Inc., the Register-Guard reported.
