Kodak, Apple Patent Row To Stay In Bankruptcy Court

Law360, New York (July 26, 2012, 11:02 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Thursday decided to keep Eastman Kodak Co.’s patent row with Apple Inc. and its spinoff unit FlashPoint Technology Inc. in bankruptcy court, where Kodak is attempting to fend off Apple and FlashPoint’s claims over 10 digital camera patents.

U.S. District Judge George Daniels denied Apple’s bid to move the dispute from bankruptcy court to federal district court in Manhattan, finding that U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Allan L. Gropper should first rule on some of the major issues in the row....
