Ex-Starbucks Barista Seeks New Break Subclasses Post-Brinker

Law360, New York (July 31, 2012, 4:29 PM EDT) -- An ex-Starbucks Corp. worker asked a federal court Monday to reconsider certifying three subclasses in a suit against the coffee giant in light of the California Supreme Court's landmark Brinker decision, which she said forbids employers from pressuring workers to forgo proper meal and rest breaks.
