Firm Admits Improper Conduct In Pilgrim's Pride Suit

Law360, New York (October 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Citing miscommunication between an associate and an investigator, Morgan & Morgan PA has admitted that the firm made “improper” contact with a Pilgrim's Pride Corp. worker regarding pending wage-and-hour class action litigation against the poultry-packing giant.

The Orlando, Fla.-based law firm filed a response on Wednesday in an Arkansas federal court to Pilgrim's Pride's motion attempting to prohibit the soliciting of workers to join the purported class action, which seeks compensation for time spent donning and doffing safety gear.
