G4, NBC Sued Over 'Attack Of The Show' OT Pay

Law360, Los Angeles (July 31, 2012, 7:15 PM EDT) -- Gaming network G4 Media Inc. and its parent company NBCUniversal Media LLC were hit Monday with a class action that accuses the network of wrongly classifying producers on its popular pop-culture program "Attack of the Show" as exempt from California's overtime pay requirements.

The lawsuit, filed in California Superior Court in Los Angeles County, was filed on behalf of segment, line and field producers by Sean Jordan, Bruce Greene and Yaniv Fituci. The plaintiffs complained to G4's management that the show was “woefully understaffed,” which regularly...
