Hispanic Workers Suing Port Authority Demand Files

Law360, New York (October 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Seven police officers employed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, who are suing their employer for discriminating against them because they are Hispanic, asked a court on Tuesday to force the Port Authority to produce personnel files and other evidence that it had so far failed to bring forward.

The officers asked the Port Authority to provide the folders it used when evaluating employees for promotion, employee performance appraisals and employee disciplinary records.
