Madison Square Garden Cries Foul Play At NHL

Law360, New York (October 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Madison Square Garden LP has shot a lawsuit at the National Hockey League, accusing it of manipulating off-ice rivalry by attempting to take control of the New York Rangers' Web site to turn it into a “cookie cutter” club site.

Madison Square Garden, which owns the New York City hockey team, filed its lawsuit in the U.S. District Court of Manhattan on the day that the NHL was set to levy a fine of $100,000 per day until the owner handed over the reins to nyrangers.com....
