Developers Sue NYC Over Failed $215M Water Park Project

Law360, New York (August 7, 2012, 9:49 PM EDT) -- A group of developers who sought to bring a water park to New York's Randall's Island sued the city Monday in federal court, alleging the $215 million project was scuttled because of the city's fraudulent mismanagement.

Would-be developers Randall's Island Aquatic Leisure LLC, Aquatic Development Group Inc. and Recreation Development Inc. said in their lawsuit that the city had botched the water park project by imposing delays and other obstacles onto the development process, all while continuing to assure the developers that the project would go...
