ZTE USA Counsel Sues Company Over Expenses In Iran Probe

Law360, New York (August 8, 2012, 6:13 PM EDT) -- ZTE USA Inc.'s general counsel has sued the telecommunications company in New Jersey state court for purportedly failing to cover his legal expenses in a federal investigation of ZTE over the alleged sale of goods to Iran.

Ashley K. Yablon contends that ZTE USA, a subsidiary of China-based ZTE Corp., has breached its own bylaws by not covering fees for his attorneys and other costs that he has racked up responding to federal authorities' requests for interviews, documents and other information.
