NY Judge Weighs Move For $899M Miami Hotel Mortgage Suit

Law360, New York (August 9, 2012, 2:59 PM EDT) -- A New York judge on Thursday paused a Miami hotel owner’s $899 million suit accusing Wells Fargo Bank NA and other servicers of the hotel’s mortgage of releasing confidential financial information, as he considers sending the case back to Florida state court.

Justice Charles E. Ramos said he'll address arguments made by the loan servicers, including Wells Fargo and Midland Loan Services Inc. and others that the case over Miami Beach's Shore Club is better situated in Florida in a written opinion.
