Samsung Docs Show Intent To Copy, Apple Experts Say

Law360, San Jose (August 10, 2012, 10:46 PM EDT) -- Internal Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. documents show that the company made changes to its smartphones and tablets in order to mimic patented features in Apple Inc.'s iPhone and iPad, Apple expert witnesses testified Friday.

As the high-stakes patent trial continued in a San Jose courtroom, Apple attorneys shifted the focus from the design patents covering the look and feel of the Apple's devices to the three utility patents Apple alleges Samsung is infringing, which cover features intended to enhance users' experience.
