Sierra Club Seeks To Stop Lake Tahoe Resort Project

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 4:07 PM EDT) -- The Sierra Club and the Friends of the West Shore on Thursday asked a California federal judge to stop the large-scale expansion of a Lake Tahoe resort, saying Placer County and its planning agency circumvented the regional plan and ordinances by pushing through their approvals for the project.
