NYC Club Says Chris Brown, Drake Killed $4M Trademark Deal

Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 6:04 PM EDT) -- A New York City nightclub owner on Wednesday sued musicians Chris Brown and Drake over their bloody club melee, which allegedly killed a $4 million trademark licensing deal with a flood of bad press about terrorized patrons who feared for their lives.

Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., operator of the Greenhouse venue and its basement dance space WIP, says it was on the verge of finalizing a lucrative agreement for branding of other clubs across the country, but that the June 14 free-for-all derailed the plan.
