Samsung Knocks Apple's $3B Damages Claim As Judge Heats Up

Law360, San Jose (August 16, 2012, 10:41 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc.'s damages estimate of up to $2.75 billion was grossly overstated, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. told jurors Thursday during a patent trial that has tested the patience of the presiding judge, who at one point in the proceedings asked an Apple attorney if he was “smoking crack."
