Defense Contractors Look To Push Back Discovery

Law360, New York (October 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Defense contractors Raytheon Co. and Lockheed Martin Corp. have filed a motion that, if granted, would allow them to avoid producing certain documents until after a judge rules on their motion to dismiss the antitrust portion of a trade secrets case against them.

On Tuesday, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin told the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that plaintiff Trans World Technologies Inc.'s discovery request was overly broad, and that responding to it would be both time-consuming and expensive.
