Ad Industry's Self-Regulatory Push Goes Mobile

Law360, New York (August 21, 2012, 8:40 PM EDT) -- Two advertising industry players on Tuesday unveiled an icon that will allow mobile users to opt out of targeted advertising as well as third-party attempts to collect data, the first mobile solution of its kind and the latest industry move in a concerted effort to meet privacy expectations without being formally regulated.
