Lodgers Sue Marriott Over Bedbug Bites

Law360, New York (August 21, 2012, 3:05 PM EDT) -- Two women sued Marriott International Inc. in an Illinois court Monday, alleging the hotel giant negligently allowed them and their children to be bitten by bedbugs in a now-closed hotel.

The women say they and their two children all suffered numerous bedbug bites from a “significant infestation” at the former Hickory Ridge Marriott Conference Hotel in Lisle, Ill., where the group stayed for nine days in August 2011.
