Injured Little Leaguer Wins $14.5M In Defective Bat Suit

Law360, Chicago (August 22, 2012, 8:34 PM EDT) -- The family of a boy who suffered permanent injuries from a ball hit off an allegedly defective baseball bat reached a $14.5 million settlement Wednesday in their suit seeking to hold Sports Authority Inc., New Jersey State Little League and the maker of Louisville Slugger bats liable.
