DC Circ. Stays FCC's Tennis Channel Order Against Comcast

Law360, New York (August 24, 2012, 8:36 PM EDT) -- The D.C. Circuit on Friday stayed the Federal Communications Commission's order that Comcast Cable Communications LLC must carry the Tennis Channel in its normal sports package, granting the cable giant a reprieve as it appeals the ruling.

The appeals court said Comcast had satisfied the requirements to delay the FCC's order until after the court had a chance to consider the commission's December ruling that the cable company had unfairly put the independent Tennis Channel in a more expensive sports package while offering its subsidiary networks...
