ING Customers Win Class Cert. In Mortgage Refinancing Suit

Law360, New York (August 28, 2012, 6:21 PM EDT) -- A Delaware federal judge on Monday certified a class of ING Bank FSB customers who claim the bank refused to honor a mortgage financing guarantee on its Easy Orange and Orange mortgage loans.

U.S. District Judge Leonard P. Stark certified a class of individuals who bought an ING Easy Orange or Orange loan between Oct. 1, 2005, and April 23, 2009, in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York and Washington, according to the order.
