Bayer Beats FCA Suit Over Off-Label Yaz Marketing

Law360, New York (September 5, 2012, 1:21 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Friday tossed a lawsuit alleging Bayer Schering Pharma AG defrauded Medicaid by touting off-label uses for contraceptive drugs Yasmin and Yaz, saying a supposed whistleblower was not the original source of the claims because they were previously reported by Law360 and other news outlets.
