Microsoft Wins Restraining Order In Trade-Secrets Lawsuit Against Google

Law360, New York (July 28, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. has won a restraining order in the company's trade-secrets lawsuit against a former employee who left for Google, Inc., as the two technology heavyweights duke it out in a battle for the online search market.

The temporary restraining order was issued by King County Superior Court Judge Steven Gonzalez against Kai-Fu Lee, enjoining him from working on any projects that overlap his efforts at Microsoft.
