9th Circ. Nixes Mortgage Fee Suit Against BofA, Others

Law360, New York (September 17, 2012, 8:30 PM EDT) --  The Ninth Circuit on Monday tossed a California real estate agent's whistleblower suit accusing Bank of America NA, JP Morgan Chase Bank and others of dodging county mortgage recording fees, ruling the California False Claims Act barred his allegations because the information in them was already public.
