Samsung Can't Kill Galaxy Tab Ban In Apple Feud, For Now

Law360, New York (September 18, 2012, 12:24 PM EDT) -- The California federal judge overseeing the patent war between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. said Tuesday that she didn't have jurisdiction to dissolve her own injunction on sales of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1.

By appealing the June 26 injunction order to the Federal Circuit, Samsung had divested the district court of its ability to alter the sales ban, U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh ruled.
