Atlantic Yards Residential Tower To Break Ground This Year

Law360, New York (September 25, 2012, 1:13 PM EDT) -- The developers of the $4.9 billion Atlantic Yards project that includes the new Brooklyn Nets stadium said Friday that construction on the residential portion of the controversial development will begin in December.

The first of 15 residential towers to be built at the 22-acre site, the 32-story building currently known as B2, will break ground by the end of the year, according to Forest City Enterprises Inc. CEO Bruce Ratner.
