Ex-Madoff Employees' Not-Guilty Pleas Set Up Fall 2013 Trial

Law360, New York (October 2, 2012, 8:39 PM EDT) -- Five former Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC employees pled not guilty Tuesday to new charges of defrauding Madoff investors, setting the stage for an October 2013 trial that could last more than three months.

BLMIS computer programmers Jerome O'Hara and George Perez, former BLMIS director of operations Daniel Bonventre, investment advisory manager Annette Bongiorno and Madoff associate Joann Crupi all pled not guilty to the charges at a hearing in Manhattan before U.S. District Judge Laura Swain.
