DRAM Defendants Press For Allocation Plan

Law360 (October 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Seven defendants remaining in the Dynamic Random Access Memory multidistrict antitrust litigation have asked a federal court to hold off on granting preliminary approval to the indirect purchaser plaintiffs’ settlements with Samsung Group and Winbond Electronics Corp.

The defendants, including Infineon Technologies AG and Hynix Semiconductor Inc., requested Wednesday that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California defer ruling on the settlements until the indirect purchasers produce a plan for allocating the settlement proceeds.
